I think the jalapeno is too spicy, next time go with crystal hot sauce instead. Until next time... Add Crystal hot sauce ”

“ It's been a few years since I've been able to get Casper's so I was thrilled when I was able to squeeze it in on my trip. Casper's is still so delicious & tastes just right! Employees were accommodating and kind. It still feels retro inside and I love that it hasn't changed. Highly recommend grabbing a dog here if you're craving one! ”

“ I've been eating at Casper's for as long as I've been alive. My parents used to take me to one that used to be in Hayward on 'D' street. Not sure if it's still there, or not. There's one on Foothill too. Anyway, back to the dogs. They're the snap kind with natual casings. They're boiled and their buns are steamed which makes for the perfect cali-style dog. (ya, ya, i know about the others, chi-town). Get it with the works and skip the strange tamales. I love the grouchy lunch lady-style folks who work there. The best things never change. “ Being from SoCal, dodger dogs are the bomb. And... now I need to figure out how to get Casper's more often. BEST HOTDOGS! I had one where I duplicated my dodger dog with ketchup mustard onion relish. DELISH! The 2nd one, I was encouraged to try their shredded cheese and sliced tomatoes. YASSSSS. So good. The only bad news was that i couldn't finish! I was FULL. Next time, I'll have 1. ”

“ Headed her for lunch the other day. I had heard about this place, and decided some hot dogs would hit the spot. Walked in, placed our order and was on our way. I went with 2 Casper Dogs with everything on them (mustard, relish, onion, tomato) and my Mom went with one. Had a Coke to drink. I liked the dogs! They were a natural casing dog, pretty long, too! They cut the onions and tomatoes in a half moon shape and stuff them in the buns. Most bites had a good clean bite of tomato, onion, dog, mustard and relish. I really enjoyed them! $4.99 each, which is a little steep, but they were bigger dogs than normal, so it was worth it. Staff was friendly. Would probably be my local hot dog spot if I lived up here. ”

“ It is a Casper's in Dublin!!! Since 1951 this location has served up steamed dogs and buns. Just like all other Casper's the choices are the standard fare. Hot dogs, polish, turn overs, chips and milkshakes. Sit at the bar or at a table, you will find your butt on the iconic round swivel seats. Always fresh ingredients cut daily, top your dog the way you like it. For me it is a Cheese dog with everything ( cheddar cheese, relish, mustard, tomatoes and sliced white onions ). Then I just have to hit it with whatever vinegar based hot sauce they have on hand. Today it was Krystal's Hot sauce. Even though I am an adult, the kid in me was swinging his feet off the seat, in utter cheddar happiness. If you find yourself on the other side of the crow canyon, stop by and have a hotdog from a bay area legacy. ”
